I bought a cheap one on ann on-line anuct site and the female 6.25 socket was a loose fit with the headphone jack and didn’t connect reliably, so I sent it back. I bought this one and it is a good tight connection with the headphone jack. Problem solved! Moral: you get what you pay for!
