Firmware Update Version 3.37.3 for MOMENTUM 4 Wireless

One of the best features of MOMENTUM 4 is that it gets better with time. In an age where our phones, tablets, and computers grind to a halt with age, we have done the opposite by continually adding and refining features based on user feedback. As of today, there is a new firmware (version 3.37.3+) available for your MOMENTUM 4 headphones. To take advantage of the update, download Smart Control Plus. Smart Control Plus is available on the App Store (iOS, iPad OS) and Google Play (Android). 

We will get into the update process (it’s both quick and easy) so you can take advantage of these improvements:

• Improved on-head detection
  • This will give you more predictable behavior for the auto-pause/resume/call management, if toggled on. Of course, you can turn off head detection if you prefer to manage your media or calls on your device or using the headphone’s touch gestures

• Improved Adaptive ANC (Active Noise Cancelling)
  • Adaptive ANC is great for reducing background din but are sensitive to sensation of it. The Adaptive mode (also selectable) responds differently as you change from one type of noise environment to the next. It gives you as much ANC as you need. A few common examples: the change from cabin to crowd noise when deboarding a commercial flight, or the swell of conversation during the morning rush at a coffee shop.

• A new toggle for disabling multipoint mode
  • Multipoint lets you bounce between your smart devices. You can stream your favorite podcast on your smartphone, then take a Teams call from your PC—all with a simple tap when you hear the incoming tone. If you’re anything like us, you connect your headphones to a lot of different devices, but occasionally want to focus on just one so you can get some work done or finish listening to that new album. Simply toggle multipoint mode off to stay connected to your primary device going through the process of unpairing (or deleting) secondary devices from your headphones.

These features come from the great feedback from customers and power users, and represents the latest in a series of enhancements since the product was first introduced.

While we have you here, the latest version of Smart Control Plus lets you share EQ settings with other MOMENTUM 4 owners.

You can access this from the "My Sound" section > Graphic EQ > Preset of choice > tap the QR tile > Choose your sharing method.

This feature is only for sharing same-model presets (example: MOMENTUM 4 to MOMENTUM 4) and is not cross model compatible (example: MOMENTUM 4 to Sport True Wireless) however you can still save others' presets should you acquire that headphone in the future. Enjoy!
